Karim has been in the reselling game for 2 years after a friend of his bought a house outside of London, in order to provide his family with a better quality of life. He started reselling amongst other self-employed work, to save the commute back and forth to work each day. That's when the moment clicked for Karim! “This could be a great side hustle”.

Fuzzy specialises in Men's and Women's footwear, including trainers, boots, running and dress shoes. He aspires to go full time by next year, with the intention of running a successful and sustainable second-hand shoe selling business.

Shell Resells

Michelle has been selling online for over 12 years. Her journey started with handmade goods, this then progressed to household items and eventually she became a full time clothing seller.

Michelle specialises predominantly in women’s clothes, shoes and accessories. She sells mainly new items and likes to keep on top of the trends.

She has recently transitioned over to a LTD company and brought her husband into the business. One of her main goals for the future is to use reselling profits to invest/ start up other business ventures.

Daz & Pui Smith

The Smiths started their reselling journey in March/April 2021 after their business in Thailand disappeared due to Covid, they had to relocate and start over. They started reselling after seeing Gary Vee’s Trash Talk, as a temporary solution to earn a few extra £££’s. They loved it instantly and realised they could scale it into an actual business.

Daz & Pui now earn 6 figures + in their preloved menswear business!

Their goals are:

ABL Reselling

Dave started reselling 6 years ago after being introduced to the world of buying and flipping by his daughter.

Dave’s selling model is broad! He picks up and sells items from a whole host of different categories. He’s passionate about the research process in reselling and always loves to learn new things.

Dave has a community group on Facebook and has invested lots of time in helping others. It will come as no surprise for many that ABL’s goal for the future is to automate his business as much as possible so that he can use his spare time for philanthropic ventures.

Becky’s Bazaar

Becky started reselling back in 2019 during her masters year at University. Then when covid hit the subsequent lockdown meant she could dedicate lots more time to turn it into a business alongside writing her thesis.

Becky’s reselling journey happened by total accident. She came home from uni for the summer after her undergraduate degree and there was a huge amount of social pressure for her to get a job and figure out what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. She applied for a masters degree but during the summer she needed some extra income so decided to list some bits from her wardrobe on Depop. The first thing she listed sold within the hour for more than what she paid and that’s when the penny dropped that this could become a thing.

Becky specialises in vintage / second hand clothing. She loves all things Nascar and Harley Davidson (hence the checkered flag logo).

Her goal for the future is to continue to push the social media and content creation side of her business.

Reselling Dan

Dan has been a full time reseller for 2 years but has always considered himself a hobby reseller from a young age.

After watching Commonwealth Picker in America, he realised he had an opportunity to do the same within the UK. His children are his main driving force, being self employed whilst they are so young has given him the freedom to be there when his family need him most.

Dan likes to flip all kinds of things and isn’t hesitant to pick an item up no matter it’s category or size. He sells everything a part from clothing.

Dan’s plans for the future are to keep on his reselling journey! He plans to continue to help the community on YouTube and Instagram stories when he has the time.

Reseller T

Talia started reselling in 2018. At 18 she wanted to move out of home but knew she didn’t want to rent so started selling as much of her own stuff as she could to save money. Eventually she ran out of stuff and went on to sell from her mums loft as she’d kept all the toys Talia and her sister had growing up. She was obsessed with eBay and that’s when Talia found the Instagram reselling community and began to buy stock in charity shops/ carboot sales. After growing her business alongside working full time and through a global pandemic, in 2021, aged 22, she bought a house solo with a 40% deposit. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Talia Predominantly sells women’s and men’s clothing but has a second eBay shop for homeware.

Talia doesn’t dream of making 6 figures - for her, maintaining a generous income is enough, she’s all about an easy life!

The Luxury Pickers.

Austin and Bethany are life long thrifters, but went full time in reselling after leaving their professional careers with Dior and Gucci.

Their ambition was to have more than a 9-5. In their words “no matter how high you get when employed, you’re employed. Working for yourself is the ultimate freedom and the sky is the limit.”

The LP’s sell Luxury, luxury and more luxury. They specialise in anything from the worlds finest fashion houses. Women’s and Men’s clothing and accessories.

Their goal is to be constantly better than they were yesterday. To know more, learn more, earn more. “Our goals develop daily, you never know what’s around the corner”.

Chaddypete

Pete has been a reseller since 2017!

He was working full time as a police officer when he saw a short video by Gary Vee talking about the advantages of reselling. The first item he picked up was a Ralph Lauren Wimbledon tie for 50p, he sold it for £12.50 and has been addicted ever since.

Chaddypete mainly sells men’s clothing whether it’s designer, vintage or just sentimental!

Pete’s goal for the future is “to do as little as possible 😂. I enjoy inspiring people to find financial freedom and enjoyment through reselling and I want to continue doing that for as long as possible. I want to travel the world with my family and make the most of life!”

Kev the Reseller

Kev started reselling as a hobby and side hustle 10 years ago, 7 years ago it stepped up to a self employed business.

Kev’s previous career as a branch manager of a builders merchant wasn't working well for family life so decided to significantly change careers. 7 years ago he got a job in a care home working nights and running the reselling business in the days, he realised just how much he enjoyed it in the hobby years and decided to make a go of it.

Kev’s eBay account is "antique_and_collectables" which indicates strongly how he started, buying mostly at auction houses, but over the years he has become specialised in buying things for peanuts and selling for a lot more! He has no niche, he’ll dip into all categories if he believes there's profit to be made.

As of this month Kev has left his role in care to concentrate on his reselling business 100%. His only goal is to continue growing his business and ensure that reselling can continue to support his family for the long term future.

The Flip Room

Adam has been a reseller for the past 3 years and also has a podcast dedicated to the industry, which is why this guy will be hosting our question and answer panels next year!

He started his podcast (the flipping pod) because he loved watching others in the reselling space. He’s always been intrigued with their businesses and their journeys. “Selfishly I wanted to know more but wanted to share that with the community - Think Diary of a CEO but for resellers”

Adam’s future goal is to continue to grow his revenue organically (100k as a part-time reseller would be cool). Also to continue to get awesome guests for his podcast.

Rummage Around

Kieran has been reselling since he was 14 on and off, a long with his dad! He went full time in the last 4 years and has loved every moment.

The main thing that got Kieran into the hustle was his Dad. “Being in the forces my Dad had a strong desire for me to earn my own money. He said if I wanted the new Xbox 360, then I would have to try and pay for it myself and that’s where I discovered the weird and wonderful eBay!”

“My Speciality would probably be trainers and shoes. I’m probably known in the industry for being pretty good at that I suppose. I will pick up anything that I can to return a profit though”

Kieran’s Goal for the future is to be a better version of himself than yesterday. He wants to keep growing, keep learning new brands and new niches. He wants to grow Amazon “as the room for growth is astronomical and keep growing next level resell and teach others the way of reselling both on Amazon and on eBay :)”

I Resell Stuff

Harry has been a reseller for over 10 years!

He initially started as a collector and discovered reselling through wanting to be his own boss and be in charge of his own time and ideas.

Harry started reselling footwear but has now branched out into clothing and has also gained knowledge in many other categories. Most recently selling a set of Oxygen Concentrators and making £385 profit.

When asked what his goals are in the future Harry said “To grow my eBay store and my presence within other emerging selling platforms. Continue with the YouTube channel and a few other projects I have in mind”

Chika

Chika has been a reseller on and off for 20 years! But has been doing it consistently since 2018.

“I got into reselling because I like nice things. I love saving objects d’art from landfill and owning beautiful pieces, for even a short time, is a pleasure. Reselling has always been my go to way to earn a little extra to fund my little extras. I started selling in-demand/cult items from Primark back when there wasn’t a store in every town. I spotted the opportunity and went with it.”

Chika specialises in women’s clothing although she’s been known to sell anything from classic cars to sewing machines!

Her future goal is to achieve a balance. She is firmly in the work to live camp, and wants to continue to develop her income streams so she can take her foot off the pedal and enjoy herself.

Clickwright

Josh has been reselling full time for 8 years. He initially started because he wanted to make a bit of extra money on the side of his full time job and ended up loving it and just went for it.

Clickwright Specialises in the items no one else thinks of picking up, anything from baby lotion to plumbing parts and he gets some hefty prices for them. He sells on eBay and Amazon and has a broad knowledge of sourcing and selling.

Josh’s goal is to explore the world searching for the coolest items and making contacts whilst doing it!

George Ross

George has been reselling for 10 years, 7 of those being full time. The passion for reselling started when he wanted to collect his old childhood toys from the 90s and found out how much they were actually worth on the secondhand market.

George would say he’s an all-round specialist reseller so doesn’t focus on any specific niche but knows quite a lot about a wide variety of items to keep it fun and interesting.

When asked what his goals for the future are George said “One of my reselling goals has actually come true this year now me & Amy are on the property ladder! So now it's just a case of paying the house off & continuing to have a nice family lifestyle where we don't have to worry about anything whilst having nice days out & holidays etc”
